Paddle Board SUP Buying Guide

Since Covid there have been many 'Pop-Up' paddle board (SUP) brands that have cashed in on low cost, low quality boards. There have also been a few that have made boards of not bad quality but have since cashed in and left. Now we have the wonderful Amazon & TEMU to contend with, and this is where the problem lies.

Between the months of January - April 2024, China shipped over 1,000,000 inflatable paddle boards into Amazon warehouse across the globe. Offering low cost, low quality paddle boards SUPs that have little to no aftercare and very little in the way of guidance and safety. Most inflatable paddle boards on Amazon, if not created by a known UK brand are more than likely direct from the factory in China.
